Dead Gods Lane

The Dead Gods Lane

The Dead Gods Lane is a vast, desolate wasteland — a scarred region of swamps, dead forests, and poisoned lakes. It stands as the greatest reminder of the Great War of the First Age, where the gods, the Sentinel, and Nedel clashed in a cataclysmic battle that reshaped Vitallia.

The ground is charred and fractured. Toxic fumes linger in the air, and the waters are tainted beyond purification.
Twisted monsters, undead abominations, and corrupted creatures roam the land, shaped by the ancient divine magic unleashed during the war. Even the bravest warriors hesitate to enter its cursed expanse.

Ruins of ancient temples and fallen cities lie scattered across the wasteland — the last echoes of a time when gods walked the earth.
The Dead Gods Lane remains a place of lethal mystery, where only the strongest and most desperate dare venture.

History of the Dead Gods Lane

The earliest human settlements of Vitallia were built within the Dead Gods Lane.
However, these fledgling civilizations were annihilated at the height of the Great War. The overwhelming toxicity and divine corruption of the land prevented any further settlement.

Survivors and united tribes fled the region, migrating toward the Lion Mountains, where new societies eventually formed.

Campaigning in the Dead Gods Lane

The Dead Gods Lane is perhaps the most dangerous location in all of Vitallia.

  • Its environment is toxic, unpredictable, and shaped by ancient divine residue.

  • Its proximity to the Crater enhances magical anomalies and hostile phenomena.

  • The monsters that dwell here feed on divine energy, making them extraordinarily deadly.

  • The region is a ghostly, unwelcoming land, hostile to all forms of life and sanity.

Only the most seasoned adventurers should consider entering — and even they may never return.
