Medai

History

Medai are alien creatures that entered Vitallia through another dimension. They lived in the plane of Pantheon before arriving here. They are considered a new race and their numbers are limited and spread throughout Vitallia. It is rumored that they had been cursed by an overlord in Pantheon and ever since have living snakes on their heads instead of hair.

Lore

Medai are a nomadic people who travel between worlds to survive. They have living snakes instead of hair. These snakes function as antennas and increase their perception greatly.

Tribes

It is unknown how many Medai tribes exist in total, but only three have established a significant presence in Vitallia:

• Medra – Viper snakes on their heads, green skin, and yellow eyes. They are able merchants and travelers.

• Melidra – Mamba snakes on their heads, bone-white skin, and black eyes. They usually find work as mercenaries or gladiators.

• Gowros – Krait snakes on their heads, black skin, and red slitted eyes. They are scholars, mystics, and the most reclusive of the clans.
