These commendations are issued by the Eusan Nation's elite for absolute loyalty and supreme service to one's comrades.
The highest honor in the Eusan Nation. It is awarded for outstanding actions above and beyond the call of duty. Most often awarded posthumously.
The act for which one is nominated for this award must involve a risk of life and distinguish the individual conspicuously above their comrades.
A medal normally only awarded to exemplary Protektors. The second highest possible award for brave defenders of the Nation. The only higher possible honor is the Hero of the Revolution medal.
AEON is extremely particular about the criteria for this award, as it is the second highest National award possible.
An award for distinguished service granted by an offizier of the Inspektoriate. A nominee must demonstrate conspicuous service beyond that of their comrades to qualify.
An award for graduating the prestigious Ostwall Academy's Kaderkom Program on Heimat with honors.
This award entitles a new Kommissar to the rank of Feldkommissar rather than Hilfskommissar.
An award for significant injury in service to the Revolutionary and her Daughter. It represents a mother's sacrifice in war for prosperity and the Revolutionary's protectiveness over her daughter.
Colloquially named the Mother's ribbon.
An award for significant and conspicuous civilian contributions for the betterment of the Nation above and beyond that of one's colleagues.
An award for distinguished members of the Protektoriate granted by AEON for admirable and honorable service.
An award for spending one thousand hours at a duty station without breaks. Most often awarded due to blockades, intense fighting, emergency working conditions, or natural disaster. It's a unique honor.
Colloquially named the Thousand Hour Award.
An award for pioneers, researchers, and planetary surveyors who established initial Eusan infrastructure on dangerous frontiers. It represents the grueling physical sacrifice required to pave the way for the Revolutionary's vision. Most often awarded to early settlers and miners.
An award for exemplary service to the Nation. It is essentially the military equivalent of the Hero of the Homefront award; it is an incredibly high honor. Volksmilitar commanders are quite particular about the critera for this award.
If one somehow has both the Award for Meritorious Service and the Hero of the Homefront Award, regulation states that the bearer may choose between them due to technical equivalency.
An award for significant bravery in service to the Nation.
An award for distinguished pilots granted by their direct command staff. A nominee must demonstrate conspicuous service beyond that of their comrades to qualify.
An award for distinguished service granted by a Army offizier. A nominee must demonstrate conspicuous service beyond that of their comrades to qualify.
An award for distinguished service granted by a Naval offizier. A nominee must demonstrate conspicuous service beyond that of their comrades to qualify.
An award granted to all persons within the Nation that completed 2 years of military service consecutively and honorably and with a record clean of any infraction worthy of jailtime. Automatically granted to approved exemptees.
An award for individuals that spent at least one biological year deployed on Kitezh in a military, logistical, or security capacity.
An award for individuals that spent at least one biological year deployed aboard a spacefaring vessel as a primary duty station. Volksmilitar command is quite particular about weeding out loopholes with this award, and as such the most common recipients are Volksmarine personnel.
An award for individuals that spent at least two biological years deployed on the world of Leng in a military, logistical, or security capacity.
An award for individuals that spent at least one biological year deployed on Vineta or Yulin.
An award for individuals that spent at least one biological year deployed within the heavily fortified Inner Ring defense network (covering the airspace and orbital paths surrounding Heimat).
Volksmilitar command utilizes this award to distinguish home-system defensive veterans from those deployed to the volatile far worlds.
An award for completing unterkommando training authorized by AEON. Unterkommando qualification is a prerequisite to Kommando qualification.
The Unterkommando program is a highly effective and intense training program employed broadly to career troops by AEON and the Volksmilitar. It is also a requirement that Senior NCO/SPOs pass this qualification no later than the same Vinetan year they're promoted to EN-S.
Naturally, some individuals that have not yet reached the rank of EN-S are opted in to the Kommando training program by AEON or their Volksmilitar commanders based on merit, and thus skip past EN-S. Training normally lasts 3 months.
An award for completing specialized Kommando training authorized by AEON. Kommando qualification is a prerequisite to Oberkommando qualification. The training is intense and rigorous and is a minimum requirement for many elite National Infantry teams and special forces missions. Training normally lasts 3 months.
An award for completing the most intense and rigorous training the Nation has to offer on Heimat's capital: Oberkommando training.
Oberkommando qualification is unique to the prior two tiers of Kommando training in that it may only be awarded by a single training facility on Heimat rather than the hundreds (or thousands) of facilities dedicated to Kommando and Unterkommando qualification levels. Training normally lasts a whopping six months.
A sidegrade award to Oberkommando qualification. Sturmkommando training isn't necessarily any harder than Oberkommando training, but it is longer and dedicated to the needs of AEON's elite Sturmkommando operatives. Most Sturmies are also Oberkommandos. Training normally lasts one full year, and duties normally consist of secretive and covert operations.
Unlike Oberkommando training, there are many facilities around the system that can be used for Sturmkommando training. It is often a requirement of this training to travel to different facilities.
