Information Security in the Nation

Most documents in the Nation that one will encounter have no sensitivity classification, or are technically considered ENCT-00 (Eusan Nation Classification Tier 00). Information classification levels allow people to write documentation that easily and aptly describes the confidentiality level at a glance.

Sensitivity Classification

Pages that should be noted in-character to have classification, to the best of our ability, have been labeled similar to this one. The existence of Eusan Nation Classification Tiers is freely available knowledge within the Nation.

ENCT-0

Public / Öffentlich. Common information that poses no risk if exposed.

ENCT-1

Internal / Interne Sicherheit. For internal viewing only. ENCT-01 is often accessible by most protektors and anyone with a need-to-know. Information that is not designed to be public, but poses little to no risk if exposed.

ENCT-2

Confidential / Vertraulich. Need to know is often restricted to facility administrators, Kolibri units, or command staff. Information that could pose genuine risk if exposed.

ENCT-3

Secret / Geheim. Need to know is often restricted to senior command units, administrators, or AEON. Information that could pose a severe threat to facility stability and safety if exposed. May require a SCIF or T-SCIF to handle this level of sensitivity.

ENCT-4

Top Secret / Streng Geheim. Need to know is often strictly limited to a need to know between select and specific individuals, potentially excluding even the likes of the Falke. Information that could pose an exceptionally grave threat to the Eusan Nation or the Replika workforce if exposed. Often requires a SCIF or T-SCIF to handle information like this.

ENCT-5

Compartmented / Vertraulich-Sonderfreigabe. Need to know is restricted the most heavily. Information that could pose an immediate, irreversible threat to the survival of the state or its assets. Most commonly requires a SCIF.

Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)

A SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) is a designated permanent area that can be used to discuss, handle, or consume information of a given level of classification. It is designed to be completely secure, and personal electronic devices are rarely ever allowed inside.

A T-SCIF is the same thing, but temporary. It could be a bedroom, a tent, or a shielded shipping container even.
