ABTRs serve as the Volksmilitar's vehicle specialists. Designated to specific crafts, Albatrosses are trained to service the Nation's various crafts in the battlefield, whether it's as the drivers of assault craft, the pilot of a Close Air Support vehicle, or a humble logistics driver, their dedication to their work is what makes their continued use on the battlefield ever-present. While also trained in basic infantry combat, survival skills, and general maintenance, they thrive in their element, and rarely like to be torn from it.

Albatross units find solidarity among similarly designated units, for example, ABTRs piloting the Nation's fighters stick together, while bickering with Albatross units who are designated as Ground-based units. While never usually anything drastic, it is advised to monitor their interactions, as it can escalate. While not glued to them, Albatross units tend to stay near or around their designated vehicles, cleaning and maintaining it until it's time for use. In-between deployments, they can be asked to aid in other tasks, however, it is advised that anything they do is checked over, as some younger units tend to haphazardly complete tasks to return to their vehicles as quickly as possible.
A young Albatross unit tends to remain calm and collected, finding their footing and gaining more experience with their craft. This serious demeanor tends to lax away when off-duty, or as an Albatross grows more experience, feeling more at ease with their place and their craft. Closely bonded Albatrosses tend to form 'Wingmen', or allies within their structure they can trust on the battlefield, and often get defensive if their allies are hurt, detained, or worse.
During off-hours, they tend to find relaxation in AEON-Approved model kits, mostly in relation to what they are used to, but some have found interest in others, the carefully precise task of completing them honing their focus on minute details. They also tend to find relaxation in games of chance or social games that give them an opportunity at victory. It is advised to keep fire away from Albatrosses as much and often as possible, though the tolerance for what they can handle tends to vary. ABTR's experiencing a fire to their vehicle tend to enter a state of hyperfocus, in an effort to rescue their craft, and begin repair work. They should be kept from large scale fires if possible, as it tends to kick off their panic state.
