The Arvessan Basin is a broad region between the Bay of Arvessa and the Saphren Gulf, in south-central Mediath.

The climate is Aegean (for those of us here on Earth who are reading this). It is warm, dry, and sunny virtually year round. Winters are very mild, and rarely see freezing temperatures at sea level.
