"The legendary wounds that never heal—direct channels to the Abyss itself"

Overview

The Elder Depths are the stuff of legends and nightmares. These massive, permanent dungeons represent direct connections to the Abyssal Rift, serving as festering wounds in reality that have plagued Eldranis for generations. Each is unique, terrifying, and absolutely lethal to the unprepared.

These are not merely corrupted spaces—they are active battlegrounds where reality itself wages war against the Void. The very laws of physics bend and break within their depths, and the creatures that emerge from them are often unlike anything found elsewhere in the world.

"Standing at the edge of the Endless Abyss, I finally understood why they called it that. The stone steps descended into darkness so complete it seemed solid, and from that black throat came sounds that belonged to no earthly creature. This was not a dungeon—this was a gateway, and something vast stirred in the depths beyond mortal comprehension."

The Great Eight Elder Depths

The Endless Abyss (Altoria)

The deepest known dungeon, a massive spiral descending beneath the Imperial capital. Home to the dwarven settlement of Deepforge and countless unexplored depths.

The Infernal Warrens (Solena)

A maze of fire and brimstone beneath the coastal cliffs, where the scars of ancient battles between Celestial Wardens and Nihilith still burn.

The Wyrdwood Labyrinth (Thigas Dale)

A twisted maze beneath ancient forests where time and space behave according to Fae logic rather than mortal understanding.

The Serpent's Maw (Hebi No Miyako)

Ancient tunnels beneath the eastern capital, filled with naga guardians and the remnants of the first Nihilith incursions.

The Abyssal Pyramid (Persepoline)

A corrupted royal tomb beneath desert sands, where ancient kings made dark pacts that echo through eternity.

The Sepulcher of Kings (Kashan)

Burial chambers of Amenorian rulers who bound themselves to Nihilith entities, now a labyrinth of curses and undead majesty.

The Sunken Catacombs (Cieloazzurro)

Partially flooded tunnels beneath the cliffside city, where drowning is the least of a delver's concerns.

The Frosthold Depths (Frostulf)

Ice-locked chambers where ancient giants and frost spirits guard secrets that could reshape the world.
