Plants are creatures that typically bind themselves unto the earth or other surfaces via roots, and are not animals. They typically get their food and nutrients from the sun, the soil, and water, but there are exceptions. Trees, bushes, grass, cactus, and all manner of other common plants are a part of everyday life in nature, but there are some strange exceptions, such as the Serravine Stalker, a plant that has a sense of smell, and tracks animals, seeking to entrap and dissolve them for their nutrients.
