Hybrids are creatures that share distinct parts of traits with other creatures. How they came to be varies, but the common trait is that they are a creature with two or more distinct parts, blended together to make a new creature.

Some hybrids were originally bred as a result of ancient magics and rituals, and others occur more like mutations in myst-heavy locales. Some hybrids are created through crossbreeding between creatures. Most hybrids that survive today are capable of reproducing amongst their own kind, giving them some foothold upon history. Other, newly born hybrid races are one off creations and experiments, and may never find mates, should one never be created.

Well renown hybrids include the Griffin, Merfolk, Chimeras, and Sirens.
