Spell Description:

You drive a nail of magic unto the earth, and cause darkness to spill forth in an area from a point. Creatures you choose within 15 feet of the point must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 + OCU dark damage and gain a stack of dark vulnerability which lasts for 1 minute.

If you have a copper nail, stake, or dagger physically driven into the earth, casting this spell on that point costs 1 less AP, and the spell gains 10 feet of area.

Copper nails were once used as an archaic medicine, and would draw the darkness straight out of the wound. The ancient giants were the first to utilize it, but the practice was widespread in times of great shadow.
