“The Arghan Plain”

A rolling expanse of grassland stretches to every horizon, where the wind moves like a living thing through waves of green and gold. The Arghan Tal, or Arghan Steppe, is the sacred heartland of the Khanate and the cradle from which its people first rode across the world. Endless waves of grass stretch beyond the horizon, broken only by scattered rivers, sacred hills, and the wandering camps of nomadic clans.

To outsiders the land may appear empty, yet to the people of the Khanate every hill, river, and grazing ground carries history and spirit. As well as the center point in which the Khanate has the ability to feed its people.

It is here beneath the open sky that the Khanate’s traditions were forged, where riders learn the ways of horse and bow, and where the will of the Eternal Blue Sky is said to be most clearly felt. Though peaceful in appearance, the steppe is fiercely protected by its nomadic guardians, for it is not merely land—it is the living soul of the Khanate itself.
