“Sah” evokes Sahara, sand, heat, wasteland; “Qadir” comes from Arabic roots associated with power, strength, destiny
So it could be define it as:
Sah’Qadir — “The Powerful Sands” or “The Desert of Dominion.” OR
Ancient Vidarian tribes translate Sah’Qadir as “The Desert That Commands Fear.”

Description
Home to the Qorkhor death worms, Sah'Qadir Desert stretches across the Mid reaches of Vidaria like an endless sea of crimson gold. Vast dunes, some towering higher than fortress walls, shift with the relentless desert winds, swallowing roads, ruins, and entire encampments beneath their ever-changing tides. By day, the sands shimmer beneath a merciless sun that scorches flesh and steel alike. By night, the desert becomes a realm of bitter cold, where travelers navigate by starlight and the distant glow of volcanic fissures.
The nomads here are some of the harshest and most ruthless. Having to take whatever means necessary to survive in the brutal heat of the desert. These nomads don't just ride horses; but lizards, bugs, and many other beasts that they are able to tame.
Despite its dangers, the Sah'Qadir remains a land of great wealth and mystery. Ancient ruins from forgotten kingdoms lie buried beneath the dunes, their treasures preserved by centuries of shifting sands. Merchant caravans, treasure hunters, and warbands regularly venture into the desert seeking glory, riches, or lost knowledge. Most never return.
