Abmarah or Abara is the world that the Cometfall Press D&D campaigns, mini-campaigns, one-shots, and books are set in. It is a world rich with history, lore, and fantastical stories; built over the course of at least a decade. If you are playing with us, please check out the House Rules!

Abmarah is divided into three major continents- Eqos in the west, Aurial in the middle, and Eteru in the east. Abmarah is a part of a solar system known as Voidspace which is in turn a way into a greater Cosmos. The planet is near an asteroid belt, and sees frequent impacts and meteor showers, and has three moons in the sky. Aurial was once far bigger and more magically advanced, until the "cometfall", a catastrophic event during which a comet impacted the continent and shattered its southern half into the Blood Sea. This plunged the world into a chaotic age that its only begun to restore itself from in a new age of order. This website refers to the state of the world as it is at the beginning of its Fourth Era of its history, upto the year 4E016 / 2116 AR.
