Smoked Katgur’s leaf and pondered the right course of action.
Set out through the hills to the east of Tavern-by-Sisters.
Spotted a wereboar hunting two drunken goblins, felled the werebeast and saved the goblins—who turned out to serve someone called Gizgik. (210 xp.)
After reading poetry on the wereboars person and learning her name (Wikkwetch), revived her, healed her, and sent her on their way—she parted by offering an invitation to her orchard to the north west of town.
Reached the Alverith River and followed it north to the Whispering Marsh.
Trudged through the marsh until reaching the entrance to the sewer.
Within, fought through a horde of rats. (20 xp.)
Entered a caved in wall to find an ancient underground structure.
Snuck through the dungeon, finding a magically preserved ancient bottle of wine. (250 gp.)
Came upon eight troglodytes eating roaches, surprised them, and destroyed them and their boss troglodyte after giving chase down into a lower cave system. (550 xp.)
Heard chanting up ahead and came upon the maggot god’s lair.
Father William has requested you retrieve the dragon slaying sword from Sir Brandon’s barrow mound (and see what has become of Brother Dirk, if time allows). In exchange, he offers blessings (the casting of one cleric spell up to level 3).
“Drop Dead” Ned of the Five Fingers of Fate requests that you clear out whatever is causing problems in the Alverith river exit of the town sewers and return the body of Hal, dead or alive. In exchange, he offers 1,000 gp, a favor, and use of the sewer system unimpeded—he will also make an introduction into the Fingers.
