Jesem has requested that you end the infernal noises coming from the basement of his home, the House of Jewels. He warns that the basement is full of traps laid by his great grandfather, the late Draxas the jeweler-magician. In exchange, he welcomes the party to loot anything they can from the basement.
Yenok Crown Tattlemater Arlanodel of the Prismists has requested through Malzazerick the Magnificent that the party retrieve and return three magical items: the crystal crucible, silver spinner, and tome of looping enchantments. They suspect the items can all be found in the basement below the House of Jewels, the late Draxas the jeweler-magician’s home and workshop. The House of Jewels can be found along the North Road heading towards the Barrowfield—it is said to shimmer and twinkle in the night. In exchange, work on the magic mirror will be free and one will be granted admittance into the order or Prismists.

Defeated the rat queen and her giant rat attendants (100 xp), Maverick bravely holding the door and nearly dying from the fight—permanently losing 1 from his CHA from the grotesque wound on his face.
Recovered an ornate golden bowl. (800 gp)
Freed Morlan from his mirror prison, but not before placing the Ring of Imbecility (recovered from the rat queen) on his finger.
Left the basement to rest in the manor for the night.
In the morning, departed to return to Tavern-By-Sisters—discovered the remains of Brother Dirk’s pony on the way, a bloody trail leading to the NW.
Back in town, spent a week in rest, revelry, and research (R&R&R).
Learned the secret of the iron statue trap (show them Draxas’s medallion) and the tarantella (play music) from Morlan, before leaving him with the Prismists,
Returned to the House of Jewels refreshed.
Followed the path of the crying ghost to a secret door into the tarantella’s chamber, failed to play lovely music, put the beast to sleep, and slayed it in its slumber. (125 xp)
Recovered the tarantella’s collar (100 gp) and and four silver statues (1,000 gp).
Brought out the bones of an unfortunate thief, burying them in the graveyard behind the House of Jewels—upon doing so, receiving a vision of drinking and celebrating with a woman named Jorranda, who taught the party a slight-of-hand trick which granted them each a permanent DEX increase of 1.
Returned to the basement, near where the rat queen was slain.
A running total of the value of all treasure, including coins, to be sold and split amongst the party upon returning to town.
