Session Events

Including monsters encountered and treasure collected.

  • A skeleton tried to come check on Quintius, seeing the party and attempting to call for help!

  • Killed the skeleton before he could alert the others, but they noticed the noise of the fight anyway—half came through the fire into the hall; the other half took the long way; all were killed. (220 xp)

  • Left the tomb, having recovered the six merchants (with the promise of gold, later negotiated for more), Alfwine, Quintius, and the Dead Grimoire.

  • Stopped to reunite Alfwine with her fairy sister, freeing the party from the risk of donkey.

  • Attempted to camp, but with the worsening weather decided to press on through the night.

  • Met Farmer Gill and his two sons on the road just after dawn, convinced him not to go dragon hunting in a snow storm, but not before purchasing his donkey Seamus.

  • During the worst of the storm, several frost elves entered the mortal world through icy cracks in reality, the leader of which was named Cold-Morning-Frost, who demanded the party turn over to him the cold-iron sword they’d recovered—his demand was refused, and though all seemed momentarily lost, his spell failed and he left with a warning, but not before a letter was pickpocketed which read: “Return to me my artifacts from the crypt in Brandonsford. Do not return until you succeed.” - Cold Prince (spider drawbridge seaweed).

  • Returned to Tavern-by-Sisters and completed the Wizard Robber and Missing Merchants quests, gaining 1,440 gp, a scroll of protection from lycanthropes and a potion of levitation, as well as advancement in the Prismists and a festival in your honor.
