“Fight me then!” The angry voice demanded. He’d been insulted and yet the smug feline countenance merely smirked. “And yet, I have no desire to.” The warrior growled, holding the mug inches from his whiskers. “I only let you know that you’d be handily beat if I did.”
Gatti are a familiar sight in the cities of Nhera’s hot south. Storied hunters and occasionally famous, sometimes selfish, heroes. Gattaki tend to prefer to go solo but are just as likely to see the value of a pride.

At some point in history, all Gattaki were solitary hunters. In elder times, the Shere Gattaki formed the first prides and were the first Gattaki communities to ingratiate themselves with the other peoples of Nhera.
Baghere and Chital care far less about community and are more likely to retain their desire for solo glory; While Shere place value in their pride’s accomplishments and storied history. Every Gattaki remembers their first hunt. If you can’t or won’t fight to survive, you’d better have an excellent reason to keep a Gattaki’s respect!
A Gatti’s name is usually something short, gutteral or simple. They will not often have a surname unless they wish to stand out in a non-Gattaki community and be remembered; In which case they will choose something they feel makes an impression.
Saberon, or Gatti that feel closer to their ancestors, may opt for more evocative names.
