Combat with the shrooms

After Flint gets attacked in the back by the shroom wizard, Fang jumps out and tries to attack and defend his brother, but before that the wizard summons his colleagues a paladin and a barbarian, during the combat the wizard uses hallucinatory spores which causes Flint, Fang and Brynn to see the shrooms for their real selves, 2 humans and a dwarf. Without notifying Lirithyn about this strange occurance, the keep fighting. Lirithyn gets the final shot on the wizard skewering him with his arrow, letting him fall slowly through the arrow to the ground. Before saying "Colleagues, spread my knowledge"

After dealing with the other 2 shrooms, the group decides what to do with the shrooms, while one suggests bringing the remains to Jaylienne, to maybe make food out of it, others talk about the human-like appearance, that they got shown. Lirityhn finds a book on the wizard, a old musty journal covered in moss and funghi. While Fang and Brynn start putting the bodies together and start to burn the shroom bodies.

While Flint, Fang and Brynn are sitting and recovering from the fight, Lirithyn, decides to hunt some more, since he knows the food in camp is getting low. He thinks about going to The Umbral Expanse to hunt, however a deer here in Fort Joy will do for now. The group discusses their current situation, having encountered and killed mushroom-like creatures that were actually humans, and they consider heading back to the camp to inform Jaylienne about the deer they found and the mushrooms. Sir Pip and Finley appear from a bush where they were admiring and seeing if his Shield (the group) is worthy enough to be his shield.

Returning to Camp and Meeting New People

The group returns to camp and disccuses their encounter with Jaylienne who says this island used to be cursed, so there must be still some curse lingering on the island. the party decides to announce to the camp about the danger they had encountered. Some people they spot are, A girrafefolk Na’ira Brightforge, a woman named Carmen Rosecliff with a magical glove floating where her hand should be, and the dwarven group from the ship.

Myriany who has a small collection of newly made potions offers their appologies for leaving them there on the ship to fend for themselves. In return she talks about her ability to make potions although, the ingredients are different since this island is all new for her. She gives out two potions to Fang. Fang drinks one that makes him glow like a jellyfish, with his hair and tongue glowing, and his hair falling down his head in a flowy fassion.

The Prisoners and Dallas

The group decides to go in to the big tent where a group of magisters are eating, and Tazzy sitting next to a Pandaren, she bombards the group with questions about source and about the shrooms that attacked them. The group discuss their situation and treatment that they are receiving from the magisters, and express frustration. One of the magisters is issued to get to Dallis, to discuss the confusion of the newly arrived.

All Prisoners are told to go to the fort to hear Dallis speak and clear up the confusion. The group and the rest of the prisoners observe Dallis whispering to a prisoner; Evan Joyheart. They see Evan's face clear up a little bit, and Dallis removes his collar allowing Evan to show his Source magic, while dark clouds with source colored lighting forms in the clouds. As quickly as the clouds show up, as quickly they vanish, as his collar gets shoved back on his neck, and Dallis leaves. While the magisters go back to their posts Brynn spots a a brick layer formation in the river, behind them. It resembles something like a bridge or tunnel. Fang decides to investigate the potential tunnel, and jumps in the water to explore, and discovers that it is in fact a tunnel, which might be a way out of the the prison side of the island in to the forest behind the fort.

The Former Magistrate and Iron Brow

They talk to Evan, a formere magister who claims to only have recently discovered to be a source user and be taken in as a prisoner, the group is skeptical and thinks he is either lying or used as a puppet for the magisters. The group decides to meet with Iron Brow, since they know he is definitely a Source user to learn more about it. Although they are not getting far since Iron Brow is drinking with Steelhead, Beast and Pissboots, and he is to drunk to provide them with clear answers. The group considers making a deal with Iron Brow, offering him booze in exchange for his help in finding a ship to escape the island, Brynn helps the Dwarven group with some musical entertainment.

Dawn and Camp Life

Azura has made a drawing for the group with everyone's name on their tent, and the group notices that the Dawn sleeps in a solo tent, and the group asks about Dawn to Azura. The group finds out from Azura that Dawn, Jaylienne, Carmen have all been here for over a year, on the count of source use.

Flint Approaches Dawn's tent, and asks her about her imprisonment, and her use of source, which led to her being deemed dangerous. She reveals that she tried to kill her ex-husband who manipulated and cheated on her, by using source magic.

The Pillow

Before heading of to bed Brynn notices that the pillow given by Lohse is noticably smaller, then when they first got it, and she decides to put the pillow away in a corner of the tent. Fang pokes the pillow but doesn't notice anything strange. The group decides to go to sleep, while hearing snoring coming from the Dwarven group as well as Dawn yelling in the background to stop snoring
