Further exploration into what was dubbed 'The Lost Sector' (often called 'The Lost Zone' or 'Floor') was inevitable when further resources were found and brought into the fold. A large heap of Volksarmee personnel, having now been brought into a singular entity known as the Volksmilitar (consisting widely of the Volksarmee and Volksmarine) where they led on the charge deeper into Cantor-13's uncharted territory.
New foes were faced, and so were the old. Undead Eules and Arars running rampant throughout the halls, along with small growths of a flesh-like substance running along the walls. Rooms were explored, more resources gathered, and more indications were found of how life used to go on before Cantor-13's besiegement.
The Lost Floor would be explored fairly rigorously, with this expedition allowing for further explorative efforts.

In some areas of The Lost Floor, there were small rooms housing a plethora of supplies-- once taken over and ran by refugees and survivors of the original siege. Those who stepped inside of these little janitor closets have been given a strange feeling of safety when inside, with the rooms being illuminated by a glowing red monitor. It couldn't be accessed or manipulated in any way, simply basking expedition-goers in its light.
These 'save points' would be used to house resources in large filing cabinets when an abundance has been garnered, so much so that it could become a hinderance to their individual inventories. A few more save points would later be found in further areas of Cantor-13, but they would eventually cease to exist when the entire sector was searched.
