A large gaggle of Volksmilitar, consisting of around roughly twenty or so soldiers and additional personnel, were briefed on a planned assault to take place in the later hours of the cycle. Several weeks prior, there had been various mental attacks being enacted on various personnel— both bioresonant, and not. These personnel would go under varying cases of mental crisis, including induced paranoia and instability.
This would eventually culminate in the largest bioresonant manipulation event to date, in which a bioresonant entity would make itself known to the entirety of Cantor-13 after growing suddenly impatient. The assault would be briefed on May 31st, where the Volksmilitar and a few bioresonant personnel would go on to use The Siphon against the host of 'The Flesh' hivemind.
They would go on to destroy the heart of The Flesh thanks to the combined concentration of several power bioresonants and their harmonization of The Siphon, which would result in all biomass growth throughout Cantor-13 to rot away— but not fully disappear, leaving roadblocks and obstacles.
When returning back to Cantor-13, the expedition came across an armed soldier who had a series of tentacles and warts protruding throughout his body. He was deemed hostile and was terminated by ALKR units of the Volksmilitar, with the body being left behind as they were quick to return to their escape attempts.
And upon making their way back into the Aft Hangar, they would be met with another grizzly sight.

A cloud of unknown substance had engulfed the other end, only leaving just enough clean air for the Volksmilitar to maneuver. These creatures were unrecognizable to the ones they had fought hours, even weeks, prior. They knew that they didn't have the means to damage or kill them without suffering severe casualties, so their escape was forced to be stealthy.
The Volksmilitar returned to Cantor-13 and back into safety, locking up The Siphon after it suddenly jumped up and down in the hands of Kommando 'Kreuz.'
