After Cantor-13 was besieged by the Imperials and their incessant gunfire ceased, it felt as though the moon had stopped dead in its tracks. There was nothing but quiet dread that lasted for several cycles, in which all the refugees could do was rebuild. People regrouped, the injured were tended to, and it turned into a treasure hunt to unlock the lower areas of Cantor-13, familiarize themselves with the layout, and de-mothball what was habitable.
Resources were scavenged, the power was re-enabled, and a shred of normalcy was re-established. People were able to finally move along with their lives in some capacity, even despite whatever was going on beyond the bulkhead. Survivors hooked up cryogenics and begun waking up personnel from their slumber, adding more mouths to feed in the process-- but gifting them a wide arrange of unique personnel with their own skillsets that could help make survival, and eventual escape, easier.
Life was now normal, and the mundane of AEON's bureaucracy was starting to seep back into the facility thanks to the help of a Feldkommissarin Amalie Song. For now, she would act as the de-facto facility commander due to the absence of the Elite Controller at the time, in which most of their command personnel had been cryogenically frozen up until now. They would soon awake, and operations would renew themselves. Things are now back in swinging order.
