The Ship

Image

Members of Cantor-13 awoke to brew their fresh morning coffee, eat breakfast, and move on with their day, but a large object could be seen out in the distance.

It looked to be a ship of some form, with one of the Elster units having a look for themselves and noting that it was a civilian class National vessel of some form. A few people were excited for the chance of escaping their predicament with this new opportunity in plain sight, while some were skeptical as to why it was in its particular spot. It looked like it was remaining in its current position out in space, simply sitting there as its lights stared directly at Cantor-13.

Some were filled with hope, while some were still adamant on this ship needing to be investigated. And that time would come, but in a much more sinister manner.

Crash Landing

The ship was seen performing a dive into the entrenchment surrounding Cantor-13, eventually crashing into the side of it as its nose dug deep into a cliff of moon dust— keeping it wedged in there as plasma fire erupted out of its damaged hull. Cantor-13's Volksmilitar and Protektoriate quickly gathered and amassed their forces and gear before setting out to investigate for themselves.

It appeared as though there were no survivors during the entire search. Storage crates and debris had flown out of the ship when it landed, with some hostile contact being found in and out.

The Volksmilitar and Protektoriate forces were hit with waves of enemies never seen before, with creatures pouring from all directions. They were all forced inside, where they would all uncover the story of the vessel and its inhabitants. It was a civilian class cargo freighter that held contracts with AEON's Organ of Workforce Management, having undergone some kind of infection that was similar to that of the biomass on Cantor-13.

Its crew would go on to mutate, eventually resulting in its crash landing into the entrenchment with no survivors found. A plethora of items were found and taken back to Cantor-13, fueling their resources and making life just a little easier for the inhabitants back home.
