Spell Description:

You bleed yourself, and great roots sprout from your wound. These can be used to fill gaps, such as doorways or cracks in ship hulls, create a makeshift spear, or attack a single enemy.

When used to fill gaps, the roots can fill a gap up to a 5 foot area within range, and must anchor itself in a surface. The roots are hard, and can burrow easily into earth and stone. You have some control over the paths they take as they sprout from your wound, allowing you to control the shape within the area. The roots have 13 AC, and can be destroyed by 5 Slashing damage, or 10 Fire damage.

When used to create a spear, the spear you create is a straight, sharp wooden root, which sprouts from your wound, and otherwise acts as a normal Spear.

When used as an attack, you target a creature within range, and a mass of roots sprout from your wound violently, attempting to impale the target. Make a melee spell attack. On hit, the roots deal 6d8 Piercing damage, and Stagger the target.

When you finish casting the spell, you take 1 damage as a Wound as the roots break free from your flesh.

From the crimson ichor comes life anew; twisted, and seeking a place to anchor its roots.
