Rhea is the Goddess of the Hearth, the Mother of the Divines, and represents dual nature of flame. She is associated with home comforts, civilization, maternal love, and warmth, as well as fury, strength, the powers of both creation and destruction.
She is sometimes depicted as a warrior queen, hair and weapon ablaze with divine fire. Other times, she is seen in the garb of a firekeeper, tending to home and hearth. Sometimes, she is symbolized as a maternal griffin, who carefully watch over their nests and young.
Her symbols are fire, the hearth, the torch, and the griffin.
