Gold dragons fought under Aurix, the Golden Blade. They flocked to Aurix for his honor and passion. Gold dragons hunt wrongdoers, be that other dragons or humans, however they are arrogant and often will languish in their lair whilst they wait for a worthy foe. They often disguise themselves as paladins, powerful elves or glorious knights, subtlety is not their forte.
Gold Dragons hoard art, often of the people they saved or battles they participated in. They keep this art in their castle and mansion lairs. They favor hidden places nearby to civilization, such as clearings amidst a forest, mountaintop plateaus or peaceful islands. They will fly out craftsmen and supplies to have their homes built and often invite hero's inside to show them about their galaries.
