The Twin-Born

The Moonhowlers see an unusually high number of twin births, and their twins share a bond that lets them speak through dreams. By tradition one twin is the brawn and the other the mind, and together they are formidable.

In the Gnoll Wars

The Moonhowlers were wary of Angash at first, fearing for their sacred ways, but their shamans read a prophecy in his rise and pledged themselves to his banner. Their seers foresaw enemy movements, their magic strengthened the gnoll host, and their warriors' night assaults turned several key battles.

• Travelers who share bread with a Moonhowler at dusk are said to be owed a truthful answer to one question, for the tribe holds the twilight hour sacred to honesty.

• A Moonhowler will not kill under a new moon, when the moon's eye is closed and cannot witness the deed.
