Tasmyn Burakha (Pronounced tuh-shh-meen) is one of the members of the Krono Krew party.

Biography

Early Life

Tasmyn's story begins in the Ashfall Sea west of the Great Kingdom of Terros, a land scarred by poverty and conflict. Born into a humble family, she grew up witnessing the harsh realities of life firsthand. Her parents, hardworking artisans, provided a modest living for Tasmyn and her younger brother, Raelyn.

Tragedy struck when a deadly epidemic swept through their village, claiming the lives of their parents. Left orphaned and vulnerable, the siblings were captured and sold off to a heartless slave trader. Bound by chains and stripped of their freedom, they endured the grueling journey to Terros.

During their harrowing escape attempt, chaos erupted, and Tasmyn and Raelyn were separated in the confusion. Desperate to ensure her own survival and with no knowledge of Raelyn's whereabouts, Tasmyn was forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to flee without him.

Guilt and anguish haunted Tasmyn's every waking moment as she set foot in Terros, a place engulfed in civil unrest. Though she desperately sought answers and a way to reunite with her brother, the circumstances were beyond her control. Determined not to lose hope, she embarked on a relentless search, tirelessly seeking any shred of information that might lead her back to Raelyn.

Tasmyn relied on her resourcefulness and the skills her parents had taught her to survive. Her talent for tinkering and the art of artillery became her means of sustaining herself, crafting and selling unique handmade items to make ends meet. Tasmyn's journey was marked by the dual objectives of survival in a land ravaged by unrest and the relentless pursuit of reuniting with her beloved brother.

She joined the Department of Dungeons in the city of Rockham, slowly making a name for herself. She creates a steel defender in the shape of a monkey, named Mysha.

Shards of the Empire

Check the main campaign page for the detailed plot summary.

As part of a mission from the DoD, Tasmyn starts to investigate and solve a missing persons case which involves missing people and lifestock. They realize that one of fisherwomen's husband had been polymorphed into a young purple worm, who they defeat. Upon heading to the DoD, they run into the rest of the party and decide to form a team.

After saving Finethir from Noke and restoring him to his elven form, she asks his help in creating a compass that could point to her heart's desire- which happened to be her lost brother. Finethir said that it is difficult, but he'll look into it. He later did gift her a Map of Markets and some chronostone dust to help the party teleport around the nation.

Later, when the party is heading to the expedition to Varkaria, she spies on Gabryel von Gothwyn, and tries to get closer to most of the team. She even tries to get better at dealing with Gideon, even though she was a bit afraid of him. At Varkaria, she gets separated and ends up with Erna, Gideon, Sakii, and Lorndyr. They end up in an old temple where Gideon's knowledge of Omnikarn and Tasmyn's problem solving helps them solve enough puzzles for them to escape and rejoin the others. They face off against Gothwyn for the first time, and then get transported days ahead. They name the team the Krono Krew, and decide to head to the College of Zaubarovia.

Tasmyn grows closer to the rest of the party while they head to the College, and was useful in a bunch of fights including against the black oozes as well as the abyssal monsters underneath Tromden. At the College of Zaubarovia, Tasmyn attended a guest lecture on Automatons and their Souls conducted by Dr. Svarka Stali of the Lunar Skion Labs. She even dragged Erna to the lecture, and asked him some interesting questions about upgrading automations and how to make them more alive. She spent most of the time at the college attending classes, upgrading Mysha, and baking food for the others.

She is very helpful in beating Gothwyn for the second time, casting a bunch of spells that helped turn the tide in their favor. Afterwards, they decide to head to the Underdark through Vogh Vulfrhûn for the next time gear.

Through most of chapter 3, Tasmyn was very helpful in dealing with most of the fights that the party ran into. She bravely took down the Purple Worm in the Hourglass Caverns after it spit out Ingrid and Werner. Later, when the party went to take down Baron Emeraldeye, she almost died to Tulunvithar's poison breath but managed to hang on and take the dragon down. After defeating him, they are rewarded as saviors of the city. Finethir shows up during the award ceremony, and shows Tasmyn a blueprint for the compass that she desired so much.

Tasmyn decides to stay at Fort Huxley and work on her projects- mainly the compass and upgrading Mysha- through most of the next year. She becomes closer to the smith Grenthrum as well as Gideon and the rest of the crew who lived at the Fort. She stays at the Fort during all of chapter 4, and heads to Timeron alongside Bakos and the rest of the party during chapter 5. She helps the party defeat Gothwyn, and gives a speech during the final celebration where she announces that she has finally figured out how to locate her brother.
