Cydney 'Red-Tiger' Gullis is a NPC that was a part of the crew of the Phoenix Nebula. He was the ship's Second Mate.
In reality, he used to be Niklaus Sherwind, the brother of Laoch Redfield and the former captain of the The White Gull.
Niklaus was a member of the White Gull alongside Laoch Redfield and the rest of their family like Alastorm Redfield and Phaona Arrands. He became the captain of the ship, but one day in 3E444, the crew was chased down and sunk in an untimely encounter with the Crimson Navy.
He somehow survived this encounter, but ended up with amnesia and forgot everything about his previous life. Taking on the new name of Cydney Gullis, he wandered as a pirate across the Blood Sea until one day he was recruited by the Blackwood Institute for a secret experiment. They fed his mind with the experiences and memory of a fallen elf, making him a Bladesinger. He escaped the lab before they could do anything further.
Cydney ended up joining the The Icicle Reaver as one of their crewmates, until one day in 3E452 when he was recruited by his long-lost sister Laoch to become a member of the Phoenix Nebula. Laoch was unable to get closer to him. D'vorah however developed a friendship with the fellow wizard.
Later at Jasiv, Cydney convinced the crew to break into the Blackwood Institute and destroy all their documents about the memory splicing technology.
