The Lokira, named for Okir, the elven deity of playful mischief and the moon's ever-changing phases, embody a fascinating paradox. Descended from Eldar and Men touched by the wild magic of Sheora, the realm of beasts, some might call them corrupted. Yet, their slender builds and keen senses whisper of fey ancestry, while their long legs, broad ears, and fluffy tails echo the untamed wilderness.
Though they walk on their toes with slightly elongated feet, these "hare folk" are no delicate creatures. As fierce warriors, they retain the resilience of their wild heritage alongside the grace and cunning of their fey blood.
Deeply connected to Nhera's three moons, they reflect this with their crafts and displaying gemstones or other jewelry over their forehead. Another common practice is laying their weapons out under moonlight to be imbued with strength.
Each moon is believed to impart its own blessings.
Children of Sheora.
The realmstar of Sheora, or "the realm of beasts", is a primal worldscape of natural magic. Its proximity to any other realmstar will often see it's powerful aether spill into it and affect the denizens of such a visited world. Sheora is replete with beast, nature and verdant magics and creatures borne of it tend to be incredible hunters and survivalists. Lokira are a result of such magic meeting the fey aether of Nhera.

Wars Long Past.
Most Lokira remain in secluded, wilderness societies, unaware of the march of progress outside the holt. Many still believe the people of the realm regard them with suspicion and distrust for their beast-corruption; While this can certainly be the case in small communities, the wider populace has long moved on and any intrepid Lokir brave enough to leave the forest behind will likely find a world more inviting than they suspected.
On the Realmstar Magexar, Lokira are known as Lunaer.
Lunaer have less fur coverage, usually neck, shoulders, forearms and calves for moisture wicking. They have lighter colours and markings, usually spots, that present on the skin and fur.
