Due to the chaotic, changing nature of infernal aethermyst, their appearances can vary.

Some have smooth, short horns while others have multiple long, draconic horns. Their tails can be barbed, smooth, spaded, or spiked. Others might have scales over their limbs and bodies while others have skin that darkens at the extremities.

Their legs may appear typically humanoid with clawed toes, with some a little more beastly than others. Other individuals display digitigrade, elegant hooved legs.

While most Shaitaan have thin, slender tails, the end of the tail has great diversity. Once the result of bloodlines of ancient demon princes now long-gone, their tails are only culturally associated with the favoured vices and sins of the original demonic lord that possessed it.
