Shaitaani mature at the same rate as humans outside of Aulferna but can live up to 500 years. They are immortal on their homeworld.

Shaitaan range from around 6 to 7 feet tall and can appear thin to heavyset. Your size is medium.

They have had to learn to adapt to a fairly aggressive and political world of many different peoples and often understand the value of pragmatic neutrality.

You can speak, read, and write Common, Infernal and one other language of your choice.

Darksight. Adapted to the long nights and smoke-choked world of Aulferna, you have Darkvision up to 60 feet.

Hot Hot Hot. You have resistance to fire damage.

Embers of Power. Once per long rest, you can channel the smouldering embers of Aulferna within you. As a bonus action, you gain one of the following benefits for 1 minute. Roll 1d4 to select a boon:

• 1. Burning Strength: You gain advantage on Strength checks and saving throws.

• 2. Cindered Speed: Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.

• 3. Flickering Form: You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons.

• 4. Ashen Blast: You gain one ranged spell attack as a bonus action. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 fire damage and is pushed 5 feet away from you.

Commanding Voice. You can utter a fiery word that compels a creature of your choice within 60 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a failed save, the creature must move up to 10 feet closer to you or take 1d4 fire damage. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this feature for 24 hours.
