Last we left off…

Previously on The Boundless Few: Deciding that the heavily militarized front gate with its anti-magic 'Sniffer' wands wasn't quite your aesthetic, you opted for the scenic route into Borana: the toxic under-sluice. After wading through alchemical sludge, dodging clockwork sentries, and trying not to dissolve in the runoff, you successfully breached the city's perimeter and popped out into the Slag District—a grimy, miserable industrial underbelly where the Syndicate throws the people it doesn't care about.

While Odra was busy making covert contact with a cloaked Dredger who slipped her a matchbook, Flint and Klackers went ahead to secure a table at a local dive called The Blind Gremlin. Flint, being a man of science, decided to test the local delicacy known as 'Boiler-Plate Ale.' As it turns out, drinking hot, pine-scented motor oil has consequences. Flint was comfortably numb and rapidly losing consciousness by the time the rest of the party arrived.

• 📜 Lore & Plot

  • The Slag District: The lower level of Borana. It is heavily polluted, ignored by the elite, and populated by destitute laborers ("Dredgers"). It appears to be a blind spot for the Syndicate's magical surveillance.

  • The "Sniffers": The Syndicate is actively scanning for planar and magical anomalies at the city gates. Walking through the front door is currently impossible for the magically inclined or draconic members of the party.

  • A Familiar Face: Odra has made contact with someone she believes is Idris, operating in deep cover among the dredgers.

👥 NPCs Met/Changed

• Idris (Presumed): Odra's contact. Currently disguised as a soot-covered Slag worker. He directed the party to The Rusted Anchor.

💰 Loot & Resources

• Safehouse Secured: The party has successfully bypassed the quarantine and found a temporary haven in the Slag District.

• Odra: You are about to sit down with Idris after months of silence. What is the first question you ask him regarding his investigation?

• Amani: You know your uncle's smuggled weapons came to this city. How do you plan to bring this up with Idris to see if he found them?
