The farmers guild, unlike for example the merchants guild or the bankers guild, is a more loosely defined organization and often mostly organized on a regional level. The guild functions largely as a collective bargaining institution for the pricing of the crops, as well as a general oversight institution making sure that farmers and the workers on the farms are adequately compensated. Because of the decentralized nature of the guild, it does not have the bargaining power and presence of other guilds. While in some regions, the farmers guild have a strong foothold, there are many farms still across Kildar that are not connected to the guild, either by choice or by circumstance.
The farmers guild as a Kildar wide institution is relatively recent, created only when the Landsraad was formed. Until the year 414 most farmers were organized on a regional level and the power and structure of these regional organisations differed greatly between regions. The farmers guild had a tumultious start, as organizing the local farming collectives proved to be difficult. Many voices within the guild disagreed about which priorities the guild should have in the Landsraad, which resulted in the guild gaining the reputation as a unrelyable partner.
In recent years the guild, under the leadership of Patty Bolder, has been a more cohesive whole. While the power of the Landraad is steadily reducing and yielding governing power to the local entities, the already locally organized nature of the farmers guild has made it less affected by this decline. The current spearpoints of the guild are to improve the connection of the farmers guild with the merchants guild and the druidic circles of Kildar.
The guild is headed by a representative, currently Patty Bolder, but are largely organized on a regional basis. The leaders of the regional branches of the guilds are free to organize their branch however they seem fit, and are tasked with bringing any important issues to the rest of the guild.
Patty Bolder is a no-nonsense farmer from Thornvale who fell her way into the leader position by having strong opinions on how the farming guild should be run. She is passionate about protecting smaller farmers from the influence of the large preditory farming companies such as the Bramblebee family farm. She is well liked by most members of the guild, but she is opposed by Elizabeth Bramblebee who has made her work very difficult for her.

Ishar is colloquially known as the countries bread basked. Known for it's fertile ground and the roads are lined with many wheat fields and orchards. Food from this region are transported all over the country.
The largest and most successful farm of the region and the basis of the financial success of the Bramblebee family. They are historically known for farming of fruit and vegetables, although nowadays the farmstead is used more as a marketing tool of the families other exploits. While the family does not do much farming on their own, they own much of the farmable land of the region. Much of it has come into their possession as collateral for loans of other, smaller farmers. They allow the other farming families to farm the land and request a percentage of the profit. It is estimated that about 30% of all food produced in the country comes from Bramblebee owned land.
Elizabeth Bramblebee, the matriarch of the family is the representative of the Ishar greater region within the farmers guild, but many of the local farmers are not happy with her representation as she is working for the local lord.
This region is mostly known for it's vineyards and fruit orchards.
A vineyard producing exquisit but very expensive wine. Wine from de Coure is very popular with the upper class and many of the nobility show off their wealth by serving large quantities at parties.
A large scale vineyard producing easy to drink affordable wines. Summerfield Wines has gained some bad press as he was accused of the exploitation of the Shadowfell refugees working on their vineyard. This has however not reduced their wines popularity.
