Ginny Effilyn grew up in the port town of Leonaport Bay. Her father, Alden Effilyn, was a respected beekeeper, tending to the hives with a gentle hand and a loving heart. Ginny's mother had passed away when she was very young, leaving her father as her sole guardian and mentor. From a young age, Ginny was fascinated by the bees. She would spend hours watching her father work, marveling at the harmonious buzz and unique pink honey they produced. Alden taught her everything he knew about beekeeping. These pink bees, sensing her kind heart and gentle spirit, formed a unique bond with her, often swarming around her and sitting on her without causing harm. She even thought that she could hear the bees talking to one another.

In the year 236 A.T.C., tragedy struck. An unknown group targeted Ginny's home, setting it ablaze and destroying everything she and her father owned. Ginny and her father barely escaped with their lives, but their beloved home and pink hives were reduced to ashes. All they saw was a group of hooded men wearing a flame symbol. The loss was devastating; not only had they lost their home, but also the precious pink bees that had been part of their family for generations. They were forced to move into a tavern room until they could raise the money to rebuild their home.

For days after this terrible incident, Ginny couldn't sleep. At night, she would hear the buzzing cries of the worker bees as they choked or burned to death. Her father worried for her as she kept waking up screaming. Alden proposed that they leave Leonaport Bay to live in Sevenfold Commonwealth, away from the horrible memories, and meet up with an old friend of his. The night before they were to leave, Ginny once again could not sleep. She heard the cries and buzzing of the bees. At the earliest rays of dawn, the cries became too much to bear. She got out of bed and followed the cries, leading her back to her destroyed home.

The pleading for help guided her to her favorite pink beehive, where she found the tiny queen bee of the hive underneath the scorched bodies of her worker bees. It was a devastating sight, but miraculously, the queen was still alive, though she would not have long. Ginny looked up at the rising dawn and pleaded to the idol Queen Beatrix for a way to save the bee queen. A mysterious radiant light engulfed the queen, turning into a small pink light that flowed into Ginny herself. From each little worker bee of the hive, a light awakened, floating toward Ginny. As a small part of the queen lives forth in Ginny, these tiny spirits now cling to Ginny. The radiant bees offer their protection and guidance to Ginny.

Determined to rebuild their lives and restore her father's hope, Ginny made a difficult decision. She joined the Voidbreakers as a mercenary. Her motivation was twofold: to earn enough money to rebuild their home and hives, and to gain the strength and skills needed to protect her father and her new bee companions from any future threats. Ginny's ultimate goal is to return home and rebuild her father's beekeeping business, restoring their lives to the peaceful days before the fire. She dreams of creating a sanctuary where bees can thrive and where people can learn to appreciate and protect these vital creatures. Ginny and Alden never uncovered who caused the fire, but the Concordi Sentinels presumed it had something to do with the Cult of Flamespawn. She hopes to find the group responsible for their suffering and bring them to justice, ensuring they can never harm anyone else again.
