Sevenfold's Tip

The checkpoint that serves as border that separates Concordia and Sevenfold.

At the far south-western edge of the Commonwealth, Sevenfold’s Tip guards the narrow land bridge known as The Tongue, the only direct crossing into Concordia. Its squat towers and iron gates stand as both a welcome and a warning: trade may pass, but not unchecked. By day, caravans crowd the checkpoint—silks from Velvetglade, arcane craft from Spellwhisk, salted fish from Salmon’s Run—all bound for Concordian markets. By night, however, the same cornfields and gullies that feed the trade also shelter smugglers who slip contraband past the watch into either direction.

A small settlement clings to the checkpoint, its taverns and smithies serving travelers of every stripe. Here Foxfolk, Humans, Taufolk, visiting Lionfolk mingle with Concordian merchants, making the Tip not just a border post but a living crossroads. Stern yet restless, it is the place where Sevenfold ends—and something else begins.

Many who pass through the Tip make their next stop in Arlington, a seaside town just beyond the checkpoint. Its quiet beaches stand in stark contrast to the Tip’s stern walls, offering travelers a softer welcome after the scrutiny of the border. For smugglers and merchants alike, Arlington is often where the true business begins.
