Long ago, there existed two beings born of contrasting forces, a symphony and a silence, drawn together by an unspoken connection that defied their very nature. Mortemus, is known as the Maestro of a morbid symphony, known for composing a crescendo of destruction on the battlefield. His counterpart was Harmonia, the Mistress of Gentle Passage, his serene counter-melody. Theirs was a forbidden and ill-fated composition, a bond that echoed across the war-torn lands.

In the pursuit of an unattainable love, he desensitized himself to the horrors he wrought, turning war into a performance where every life lost was a note in his tragic song. His ambition was fueled by the fiendish concept of The Flames, a desire for dominion and conquest that resonated with his own destructive purpose. Thousands perished in his destructive crescendo, each soul a testament to his masterpiece and a tribute to The Skull. Yet, as his magnum opus grew, their connection fell into decay, a necessary casualty of his art, an unavoidable descent into The Ruin.

The souls of the violently departed flock to him, drawn by the melody of their demise. Meanwhile, Harmonia, his lost love, retreated into quiet isolation, tending to those who found peace in their passing. Mortemus, blinded by the chaos he orchestrated, remained oblivious to Harmonia's silent hope — that one day, the violent maestro would meet a peaceful end, and she could guide him to their afterlife. He became deaf to her gentle melody, the souls of the departed clinging to him not as a curse, but as a spectral orchestra awaiting his next command.

Some say his single-minded focus on his art was a tragedy that cost him his only love. But for him, it was a necessary sacrifice. He does not yearn for a quiet end, but for a grand finale—a final, deafening chord that will force her to at last witness the glory of his art. Till Death Unites Us.
