The Fates

The hooded wanderer who travels unseen through The Void between stories, gathering whispers and echoes to weave into his grand design. It is said he paid an unspeakable price for the sight to read the threads of all that is, was, and will be, becoming the author of a reality he both creates and observes.

From a place far beyond any realm’s reach, he is the storyteller who crafts the tales of heroes and villains, gods and mortals alike. Every soul is a character upon his page, every choice a string he gently pulls.

It is his own Breath that gives life to the ink, granting every soul a story and the will to follow it. He can nurture a child's whimsical drawing into a new fate or contemplate writing an "excuse for them to be absent," altering their path with a mere stroke of his pen. Yet for all his power, he is also a character in the grandest story of all—one he did not write, but must navigate.

He watches, he writes, and he waits, for he knows that every hero must be tested, every tragedy must have its weight, and every ending, even his own, is but a prelude to the next page. He reads tales that are not yet finished, for he knows, as his children do, that the best stories are the ones where fate isn't set in stone yet.

Even if he has forgotten that message himself...
