History

Bladefall began as a marshland settlement where the first Humans gathered under the guidance of the Gods. From these tribes rose a leader who shaped them into the earliest knights, answering the divine call to fight in the First Quest against Nedel.

After the Great War and the founding of Lothen, the settlement—then known as Lionmouth—evolved into a thriving center of craftsmanship and martial culture. With aid from sages and wizards, Bladefall grew into a powerful hub, becoming the heart of humanity in the Forklands.

As the kingdom expanded, the influence of vampires and other supernatural forces within Lothen’s leadership sparked unrest. The Era of the Red Lion brought civil war, dividing the people over the morality of their king’s arcane advisors. Although the royal authority endured, the conflict stained Lothen’s legacy.

Bladefall reached its greatest height under Norionor Whiteshield during the Era of the Conqueror, as he prepared for Nedel’s prophesied return. His influence shaped Bladefall into the formidable power that later proved decisive in the Battle of the Four Daughters.
