The city of Narsia is built on a hill and it consists of two main parts that are known as Horseshoes of almost similar layouts. The Lower Horseshoe is located on the lower side of the city and accommodates the low and middle class, the main market, and the barracks. The Upper Horseshoe represents the upgraded area that includes the castle, the temple of Arkallis, and the Healer’s House. The Knight’s Lane runs between the two Horseshoes and leads to the castle.

Narsia began as a small settlement of craftsmen. During the First Age, they were the first to craft armor for the soldiers of the First Quest. The settlement was called Narseleya, which meant Hand of God in the language of Metea, and changed to Narsia during the Second Age. Narsia preserves a strong tradition of able craftsmen, especially blacksmiths, drawing crowds from numerous locations worldwide to purchase fine steel.
When rumors of the high craft of Narsian blacksmiths spread, lords from various regions attempted to take advantage of their labor and force specific smiths to operate only for certain houses. The blacksmiths formed a union and decided to remain neutral, standing their ground against anyone who threatened their freedom to work on their own terms. The Blacksmiths of Narsia are still a known organization in the realm.
Narsia is located in the eastern part of Lothen, close to the Lion Bridge, which leads to the capital. It is situated near a river and very close to the Braylam Mountains to the west. The land surrounding the city is fertile, and the city itself is built on a high hill.
Narsia is a place of trade and craft, with its most famous aspect being its blacksmiths. It attracts buyers from every corner of the realm, especially during the season of the tournaments, when knights visit Narsia to purchase the finest pieces of equipment.
Upper Horseshoe – The upper part of the city, which begins north of the river, belongs to the nobility of Narsia. Mansions, towers, and the Healer’s House of Narsia can be found there.
Lower Horseshoe – The lower level of the city includes stores of all kinds, houses of lower and middle-class citizens, and the barracks. The lower horseshoe ends at the river that flows through the city.
Bridge of Steel – A large bridge that connects the two levels of the city over the Forkling River.
Knight’s Lane – A wide paved road begins at the south gate and leads to Whitefire Castle.
The House of Healing
A place known far and wide for its healing waters, it draws people from all over seeking relief from illness and injury. It is said that even the god Arkallis once bathed here and was made whole again.
Temple of Arkallis
A secluded temple featuring gleaming marble halls and an exquisite ivory statue honoring the sun god.
Whitefire Castle
A towering fortress crowned with three imposing towers, perched atop the city’s highest hill.
