An Unsteady Situation

Founded in 215 AF, when the old king of New Berengaria sold Berg Holdt to the Grand Council of Wizards, named Reiss, that existed in Cathringia, to come up with money to alleviate devastation in his realm. A transaction that is still disputed by the Crown of Cathringia. Berg Holdt occupied a strategic position in the mountains. However, no contact has been made with the province since it was sold to the Council of Wizards. Indeed, what was once a powerful opposition to the Ogkanish threat to the south has now left the job of defending Cathringia to Soudschloss situated in the dark forest.

The Auresian holding to the north situated around Syagrium, has often tried to exert their control over Berg Holdt but no effort has shown any success, with the wizards using the most uncommon forms of magic to protect their holdings.

Now, with the thread ever increasing in the south from the Ogkan of Őhürszág. Cathringia has been amassing its forces to quell the rogue province once and for all and bring the castle back into the fold. Only time will tell what the cost of this move will be…
