Government Structure

Since the formation of the Uzumire, the Sahlur has occupied the position of the supreme ruler, whose authority is unchallenged and absolute. This title is held by the strongest and most revered leader, who unites the tribes and leads the nation with both wisdom and might. Underneath them is the Vazirak who is the chief administrator and second in command, overseeing the bureaucratic apparatus of the empire. The Vazirak implements the Sahlur’s policies and ensures the smooth operation of the government. Just beneath them are the Magrash are the spiritual leaders of the Azāstār, wielding significant influence over both religious and secular matters. They interpret the will of Datash and guide the populace in their moral and spiritual duties.

Outside of the capital of Zarrirand, the Sardak are appointed officials who govern different regions of Uzumzire. They act in accordance with the Sahlur’s directives and ensure regional stability and prosperity. Despite their loyalty to the central authority, Sardak possess considerable power within their own territories. Here they often work in hand with their equals, the Sipahran who are responsible for the defense and expansion of Uzumzire. They lead the empire’s formidable armies, ensuring the protection of its borders and the enforcement of the Sahlur’s will through martial strength.

Below all of this bureaucracy are the Derkan who are local leaders who manage the affairs of their respective tribes. They maintain order, oversee local disputes, and ensure the well-being of their people while remaining subordinate to the regional governors and the Sahlur.
