Cantor-03 | Stille & Stellar

A few cycles prior to April 25th, radio communications had been sabotaged and jammed by the Imperials someplace on another shattered fragment of the moon. Lina Zheng was the first to figure this out when attempting to decipher a radio frequency in the Volksmilitar offices of Cantor-13, eventually finding the source of the Cantor Array's signal jamming frequency. It was located in Cantor-03, one of the three administrative nodes for the array in its entirety, in which the Volksmilitar decide to host an expedition towards the facility in order to disable it and establish contact with the outside.

Upon arrival, the jammer was easy to locate and remove. But curiosity got the better of the Volksmilitar present in the vicinity, in which they decided to begin exploring the dilapidated halls of the facility. Administration yielded some information on Cantor-03's fate, in which the presiding Adler unit spiralled into insanity as he spoke of an artefact known only to Cantor-13's Facility Command— dubbed 'The Siphon.'

His diary would go on to detail his motivations for attempting to grasp this artefact, stating the Falke Commander of Cantor-01 was asking for his help. But he would eventually stumble upon Imperials raiding the installation, in which his body would soon be found by the expeditionary force in the tunnel systems leading to the facility's maintenance shaft.

During continued explorations, the medical bay would be found with a few hostiles in the way. After they were dealt with, the cryo-pods inside revealed several subjects in hibernation— including a Kranich unit, Adler, and a low-level AEON assistant working underneath the both of them. They were awakened by the Volksmilitar and quickly rushed into the 'Komet' Starfighter, before the expeditionary crew would exit and drive back to Cantor-13.

Kranich 'Stille' and Adler 'Stellar' would go on to take total control of Cantor-13 when they realized there had been no one running the facility beyond the Kolibri cadre, where they would continue to reside.
