The Triad of Fate
Roxus - goddess of Chaos and Growth
Hila - goddess of Beginnings and Change
Kildarim - god of Death and Endings
The Triad of Fate are bound together by the concepts of constant ebb and flow of time and space. They embody the ideas of change and growth, learning and moving, and the inevitability of an end. They are the triad that oversees initiations and transitions of all kinds.
Though each of the Deities have symbols of their own, these are things that symbolize the Triad as a whole.
Representing the ever forward march of time and the inevitable end, the hour glass is the ultimate symbol of Fate and the Triad. All three Deities are represented, Change, Growth, Endings, within the sands of time and the hour glass.
The Thread of Life is often considered a symbol of Fate, but any knotted cord can be a symbol of the Triad of Fate, specifically when the ends of the knot can be seen. It represents the inextricable bond between Beginnings, Growth, and Endings.
Virtues represent what the Triad values most in Mortals and what behaviors would please them.
In this case, movement can mean anything from physically getting up and moving to another spot to transition from one life phase to another to a simple mental shift for the better. The Triad of Fate recognizes that without Movement through chapters of life or even eras of time, Mortals would not thrive and continue. Without the ability to Move through the Cataclysm, Mortals would have died out entirely.
Being faced with Chaos, Change, Growth, Endings, Beginnings, and even Death means being Adaptable. Those who are Adaptable are those who's family lines still thrive in the Age of Calamity. Those who are chosen to be Twiceborn are inherently Adaptable or they would not be capable of being blessed in their Afterlife. The ability to Adapt and to meet new challenges with a fresh set of eyes is revered by the Triad of Fate.
Vices represent what the Triad abhors most in Mortals and what behaviors would earn their ire.
Those who cannot move through a challenge, make a change to their life, or simply refuse to get up and move are the antithesis of the Triad of Fate. Just like stagnant water is dangerous to drink, the Triad of Fate views Stagnation as dangerous for Mortals, as it prevents Mortals from realizing their potential. Always work hard to move forward.
The easiest way to see how far you have come or even where you are going is to look behind at where you've come from. Those who refuse to do so are working against themselves and against the Triad of Fate's wishes. Refusing to Reflect is directly and intentionally refusing to grow or change and even refusing to have something end and something new begin. Always look back to where you've been.
