The Triad of Covenant

Enir - deity of Love and Connection

Zetar - goddess of War and Strife

Sikarr - god of Water and Life

The Triad of Covenant is bound together by the fundamental things that bind Mortals together, Connection and Strife and Life. They cannot exist without the other and as such, the Covenant is inextricably linked.

Common Symbols of the Triad:

Though each of the Deities have symbols of their own, these are things that symbolize the Triad as a whole.

A Pair of Clasped Hands

Hands locked together in an embrace can symbolize many things. It can be two people holding hands, it can be a handshake at a first meeting or after an agreement, or even someone clasping their own hands together in recognition of their own life. The concept of Covenant as a whole can be wrapped up in this one symbol, and as such is highly regarded by the Triad.

Trinity Knot

A Trinity Knot has no beginning and no end. It represents three things bound together for eternity with no break or stop, while still having three distinct sections representing each of the individuals that make up the whole.

Virtues:

Virtues represent what the Triad values most in Mortals and what behaviors would please them.

Communication

Communication, and good communication at that, is one of the highest regarded Values of the Triad of Covenant. All forms of good communication are valued, from simple conversation, to letter writing, even to the complexities of music and art to communicate an idea. It is important that Mortals strive for the ideal of clear communication between each other to honor the Triad.

Community

Especially after the Cataclysm, the idea of Community is almost necessary for survival. The Triad of Covenant takes this one step further and recognizes it as a holy thing for them. Honoring the idea of Community, striving to build Community, working towards making the Community stronger are all things that are necessary for those living in the Enclaves but taking it the step further and making it a core part of your every day functions is a way to honor the Triad of Covenant.

Vices:

Vices represent what the Triad abhors most in Mortals and what behaviors would earn their ire.

Being Solitary

The direct antithesis to Community, being Solitary is one of the most abhorrent ideas for the Triad of Covenant. Mortals were not designed to live on their own and survive on their own. No one was meant to be without others, and choosing to do so and ostracizing yourself goes against everything the Triad stands for.

Hatred

While some people might look at the Triad of Covenant and see a point of discord between the ideas of Love and War, War has always been about Love. Love of the place you live, Love of your people etc. As such, Hatred is a terrible vice to hold. No one person should hold any hatred for another for any reason, no difference is large enough for one to harbor hate in their heart.
