Serpent's Rest

Serpent's Rest is a quiet, contemplative district where Nagaji architecture meets the medieval style of Altoria, home to the city's Nagaji community alongside humans and others who have taken up its way of life. Winding streets run between lush gardens, reflective ponds, and smooth stone homes carved with serpents and lotuses, and the air carries incense, flowers, and fresh tea. Residents prize harmony, family, and tradition, with generations under one roof and elders honored for their knowledge; many work as artisans, herbalists, and scholars. Rituals for the Nagaji gods and ancestors center on the district's shrine, which anchors its festivals. Visitors who respect local custom are received warmly.
