Lysandra

The Church of Lysandra, known as the Order of the Owl, is a disciplined institution built on law, knowledge, and strategy. It works to bring mortals toward wisdom and justice through orderly leadership and steady practice.

The Archsage — supreme leader and Lysandra's voice among mortals.
Scribes of the Scroll — advisors expert in law, war, or history.
Judicators — clerics who mediate disputes and uphold justice.
Strategists — advise rulers and commanders.
Wisdombearers and Acolytes — local priests who teach, and the initiates who assist them.

The Lighting of the Lantern — a morning rite for the light of knowledge and justice.
Council Vigils — monthly gatherings for mediation and counsel.
Binding Oaths — sworn before the Church, binding one to truth, law, or loyalty.
The Silent Quill — writing thoughts out in silence to order them.
Scroll Burnings — false or outdated writings burned.

Advisors — counsel rulers and hold them to justice.
Educators — run schools and libraries; spread literacy.
Mediators — neutral parties in any dispute.
Archivists — keep the archives and protect knowledge.

Lysandra's temples range from Grand Halls of Counsel, where disputes are heard, to Sanctuaries of Reflection. Each holds a public library, so learning is not gated by rank or purse.

Lysandra's followers share one thing: they would rather think a matter through than guess at it. Her church shapes society through education and mediation, and communities trust it to be fair. Its schools and libraries give ordinary people the means to improve their lot.

Scholars and Historians — ask Lysandra for wisdom and insight.
Judges and Mediators — look to her for guidance in upholding justice.
Strategists and Leaders — pray for a clear head and a steady hand in deciding.
Common Folk — follow her teachings to build better communities.

Truth Above All — seek the truth and stand by it.
Justice and Fairness — act justly in private life and in public office.
Planning for Success — set aside time each day to reflect and plan.
Education — learn something new every day.

"The scroll is sharper than the sword."
"Justice is the foundation of all order."

Day of Counsel — a day when communities gather to settle disputes, with clerics and mediators presiding in Lysandra's name.
