Kinzhal Lopazovich Merkuriyev was the Bolt of the Lunar House Merkuriyev. He served as the Head-Bolt of the Collective for many years serving Silverin Strela from 3E459 to 3E470 after the death of his lifelong friend Siniy Vanadiyin.
Kinzhal was born in the city of Rtutiv to Lopaz Krovovich Merkuriyev. Growing up, he became best friends with Siniy Vanadiyin. After his father's death in 3E425, Kinzhal ascended to become Bolt of House Merkuriyev.
Kinzhal long tried to gain the leadership of the Lunar Collective, and the closest he got was after the death of Siniy Vanadiyin when he became the Head Bolt in 3E459. He became the primary advisor to Silverin Strela, and there were many allegations that he was running the country and simply puppeteering her.
Kinzhal had a terrible relationship with both his daughter and eventual successor Strakh Kinzhalovna as well as his son Krov Kinzhalovich. He disinherited Strakh for a few years due to disagreements before reinstating her as his successor. At the same time, he considered his son insane and wanted him arrested, something he never saw happen in his lifetime. He had a positive relationship only with his nephew, Zmeya Grigorievich, and had him as a close ally during the years estranged with Strakh.
Kinzhal met the crew of the Phoenix Nebula in 3E452, and hired them in clearing out the Cove of Cries and eliminating Shri Kunala Qrozk's outpost of slavery there.
3E329 - Kinzhal was born in Rtutiv.
3E425 - Kinzhal ascended to become the Bolt of House Merkuriyev.
3E452 - He hired the Phoenix Nebula for some work eliminating piracy.
3E470 - Kinzhal died, leading to his daughter Strakh ascending as Bolt.
