By his side, or more accurately beneath him, is Finley Beaumont Farbridge the Third, Sir Pip's loyal duck companion and steed. Finley is never seen far from Sir Pip, and their bond runs deeper than just companionship. Finley is Sir Pip's most trusted friend and the only one Sir Pip relies on in times of danger. A small harness fitted snugly around Finley's chest carries a small knife, ready to defend Sir Pip if a situation ever turns dire.
