Backstory

Lohse’s life has been one long performance, traveling, playing, and making just enough coin to get by. She’s performed in sleazy taverns, extravagant ballrooms, and even city streets when coin was low.

But her headaches began about a year ago. At first, they were just annoying, but soon, they became overwhelming. Sometimes, when the pain was too much, she could hear whispers, like voices pressing against her thoughts.

She never used sourcemagic, but when she went to a healer for answers, she was told her affliction was tied to Source.

Then came Wendigo’s attack on Azure Bay, and the Magisters' purge of all Source users. Lohse could have run, fought, or hidden. Instead, she walked straight to the Magisters and turned herself in.

She needs answers, and Fort Joy might have them.
