Chapter 3 - Session 1 - Dragony Magicy Things and Stuff

The sun rises over a ruined city. Stonekeeper banners now stand triumphant in the morning breeze, replacing Syndicate insignia all over the city.
Klackers is set up helping those citizens that were hurt in the crossfire of the battle. While things are crumbling and burning, there he is trying to put a little bit of it back together the best way he can. Although the Ironheart has been brought down Klackers feels something still pulling from it almost like an unraveling. He took Amani down to the ruin area where the Ironheart once stood to get his opinion. Z'ed looked into these eyes she saw in the smoke. Very reminiscent of the same we all saw back at the binding crystal. Somehow projecting through dimensions and space. Odra spent the morning walking the Thelara checking over the troops. Helping make sure order is being held amongst the troops as adrenalin still runs high. She met up with our dragon companion and he offered her a flight over the area to look over the city and surrounding area. After a quick flight where everything looked good they say their farewells and he takes his leave saying they may one day cross paths again. She went and checked out the Ironheart on her own as well and while there noticed some deep claw marks on some pillars like a large dragon but not our dragon. Curious. Bruin spent the day telling what I can only describe as drunken horror stories to the children of the city. To be fair not all were horrific but the effort was worth it as his stories seemed to bring some laughs and smiles to the kids and parents as they try to pick up the pieces of their lives that have been scattered with the trashing of the city. In the evening Bruin found some strange tracks outside the city. Animal like and yet not at the same time. Nothing of any animal that should be found around this part of the world though. I spent my day with Nelli sifting through the ruins of the Ironheart and the constructs looking for any useful tech that could have survived the blast. Nelli found some pieces of the infernal engine that we believe we can purge of the corruption and repurpose to our needs. We also found a Heartstone Capacitor which I can probably use to enhance my armor. As we got ready to leave we were met with Odra and as she approached the core started pulsing to her proximity and I swear Icould almost hear the core and Odras heart beat in the same rhythm.

We all met back up at camp at the end of the day and all shared what we did and some of the strange things we found. Amani said she found some "Dragony" "magicy" stuff which was super helpful and full of information and not vague or cryptic at all. Z'ed and Amani found some draconic symbols and that's strange as up until now the Syndicate was engaged in more demonic and occult activities so why now draconic and dragon stuff. Upon all this information being shared Odra's demeanor shifted drastically to anger and discomfort. After some persistent probing and asking she reveled that the symbol is used in a ritual called the Lux Eterna and that ritual is the reason she is here now as she had gone through the ritual but doesn't remember much about it. She mentioned that something is off about the sigil/symbol but she cant put her finger on it. Something about it's essence is corrupted or something. She believes that the ritual she went through was used on at least one other. So there could be more people running around unaware they are sleeping dragons who think they are normal people. Around that time Odra got a message about Len's Hollow has gone silent. Animals acting weird. and whispers in the woods of "The Hollow Queen" which has to do with Fae or something.
Sounds like thats where our group will be headed next. North to Borana.
In the morning we were summoned to the ruins of the Ironheart. There Thelara was waiting for us. They had opened the vault inside the Ironheart. The Syndicates horde. I found Nelli already inside looking over some infernal circuits and tech that she says we could reverse engineer to our uses. Thelara tells us to take our pick of loot as thank you for our efforts. We found some very helpful items. Specific to myself as I was digging through the bits and bobs I found a mechanical bracer with a familiar yellow chipped paint on it. On the underside it had written "Thought you could use this . ." How could this be here!?!? But he was destroyed. There's no way. . . . . . . .PIP?
